Things got out of hand on and off the ice last night in Dallas. Now, the Stars have issued an official apology.

Crazy First Period

The game came to a rocky start when Jamie Benn was ejected 2:03 into the game for Cross Checking.
This riled up fans, and things got much worse as the Stars proceeded to let in 3 goals in under ten minutes.
Fans threw garbage on the ice, and even dumped popcorn on Knights goalie Adin Hill.

Stars Officially Apologize

Due to the behaviour of their fans, the Stars organization decided to apologize to the Golden Knights:
On behalf of the Dallas Stars organization, I would like to apologize to the Vegas Golden Knights and the National Hockey League for the actions of a few of our spectators at last night's game.

Their actions were unacceptable and put the safety of the players and fans at risk.

We take pride in providing the best experience for everyone who enters our arena.

The actions of these individuals certainlv do not reflect our great city, organization and loyal fan base.

Brad Alberts
Dallas Stars President and CEO
Let's hope the fans show more respect tomorrow, when the Stars will face elimination.
