Connor Mcdavid Has Epic Reaction After Journalist Compares Jack Hughes to Gretzky

There is no doubt that Connor McDavid is one of the league's best active players, and there is an argument that he is the greatest hockey player of all time. There is, though, a new crop of all-stars emerging, and one of those is Jack Hughes of the New Jersey Devils.

McDavid was asked about Hughes and how he has been compared to the Great One, Wayne Gretzky, to which he had a hilarious reaction.

Obviously, McDavid had only nice things to say about Hughes and the Hughes family in general, however, its clear from his facial reaction that he was taken a bit off guard by the question.

The Oilers were able to secure a victory against Hughes and the Devils last night, as McDavid netted one goal and one assist while Hughes was unable to record a point.

McDavid and the Oilers are doing everything in their power to get back into playoff contention after a rocky start to the year.
