The contract offers that the Edmonton Oilers had for both Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg have been revealed, and the amounts are shockingly low.

The Edmonton Oilers have decided not to match the offer sheets that the St. Louis Blues have sent to Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway, and both players are members of the Blues. Insider Andy Strickland has revealed the shocking contract amount that the Oilers had ready for both players, and they are very low compared to what they have just signed with St. Louis.
Philip Broberg has just received a whopping $3 million more per season thanks to the Blues offer sheet, versus what he would have gotten in Edmonton. Dylan Holloway, on the other hand, will be receiving over $1 million more per season by being a member of the Blues. Both players sure lucked out here.
Philip Broberg was a 1st round draft pick by the Oilers in 2019 when they selected him 8th overall, and he's managed to play in 81 career games for the team, scoring two goals and adding 11 assists.
Dylan Holloway was also a 1st round draft pick when the team selected him in the 2020 draft as the 14th overall pick. In his young career with the Oilers, he's played in 89 games and scored nine goals and added nine assists.
