The Edmonton Oilers have made headlines this afternoon after star players Evander Kane and Darnell Nurse both missed practice ahead of Game 3 tomorrow.

The Edmonton Oilers find themselves down 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Finals against the Florida Panthers. Needing all of the reinforcements they can get the Oilers seem to be shorthanded after Evander Kane and Darnell Nurse both missed practice.

In the case of Evander Kane, this is less of a concern. He has missed several practices in recent weeks after a hit on June 2nd but has continued to play without missing a game.
As for Darnell Nurse, he has struggled heavily in the playoffs over the last couple of weeks. To this point, injury has not been suspected to be the cause however missing practice adds a new wrinkle of context.
Hey look, I am at the Stanley Cup Final. The Oilers are on the ice for practice but Darnell Nurse is not skating. More soon.
