BREAKING: Blake Lizotte Suspended For Illegal Cross Check
During last night's game between the Kings and the Jets, the Kings triumphed with a 4-1 victory. However, a Kings player faced consequences after receiving a five-minute major penalty and a match penalty for cross-checking a Jets player in the face.
Lizotte Cross-Checks Morrissey's Face
In the latter part of the second period, with the Kings leading 2-0, it seems that Josh Morrissey hooked Blake Lizotte. In retaliation, Lizotte cross-checked Morrissey in the face, a disproportionate response to the hook. The incident led to Morrissey's early exit from the game.
