Last season, there were many reports of the Montreal Canadiens looking to land Dubois, while the Jets were interested in extending him long-term, but he has too often looked disinterested and low on energy this season.
The Jets will be thrilled to get the return they saw in the PLD trade to Los Angeles, but if he can't get rolling for a Kings team that are expected to be a Stanley Cup threat, things could get ugly.
