BREAKING: Jeff Petry On the Move Once Again

Jeff Petry has been traded out of Montreal yet again, and this time he's coming home. The veteran defenseman is headed to Detroit, where he'll play in his home state.

In exchange for Perry's services at 50% of his current cap hit, Montreal receives blue liner Gustav Lindström and the later of Detroit's 2025 4th round picks.

While Montreal has just recently reacquired Petry in the massive deal that saw Erik Karlsson go ti Pittsburgh, many assumed he would be moved once again, as his exit from Montreal was less than warm last time around.
