In breaking news, two more players from the 2018 Team Canada World Junior team that is under investigation have taken a leave of absence from their NHL team.

Two Devils Players Take Leave of Absence From Team Amid Investigation

The news this morning that London Police were requiring the 5 players involved in the 2018 Team Canada World Junior scandal to surrender themselves to the police has created a frenzy in the media. Now, two more players from the New Jersey Devils have been announced as taking a personal leave of absence.
The Devils announced that Michael McLeod and Cal Foote have taken a leave of absence.
Michael McLeod and Cal Foote have each requested and been granted indefinite leave of absences from the team.

The club will have no further comment at this time.
Other players who are known to have taken a personal leave of absence from their teams are Carter Hart, Dillon Dube, and Alex Formenton. It has been reported that the London police are requesting 5 players, however, it has not been confirmed that these are the 5 that are being investigated.
We will see how this plays out as more details are released to the media.
