Martin Necas avoided a major elbow hit from the New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba at the last second in game 2.

During the first overtime period, Jacob Trouba almost landed the biggest hit of his career. He was going at full speed towards the boards, with Martin Necas handling the puck there. As he was about to hit him, he raised his elbow, but Necas managed to duck at the last secons, avoiding the hit.
The danger didn't stop there. When Necas was standing on the ice, and Trouba was falling down from his major collision with the boards, he almost hit Necas in the face with his skate.
You can watch a video of the incident here:
The Rangers' captain received three penalties during the night, but this incident wasn't one of them:
Jacob Trouba showed gerat leadership despite his three visists to the penalty box. He came in with his usual physical style and helped his team win the second game of the series. If they want to win the next two games, in Carolina, he'll need to do it again.
