Ryan Reynolds' Bid For the Senators is in Motion, and You Won't Believe the Cost!
Ryan Reynolds, the popular actor and business entrepreneur, has expressed his interest in becoming a minority owner of the Ottawa Senators, a well-known hockey team.
Recently, it was reported by Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun that Reynolds and his business partners at the Remington Group are ready to make a bid of more than $1 billion USD for the team. This news has thrilled the Senators' fans, who may soon see their team under new ownership.
Reynolds gave an update on the bidding process to a reporter from CNBC, where he discussed the differences between this process and his experience owning a football club, Wrexham F.C., in the U.K.

Despite not being an expert in soccer, as he calls it for his American audience, Reynolds adopted it as football and has been able to turn Wrexham F.C from a bottom feeder to an internationally known club.
He attributes the club's success to their accessibility and accountability to both the community and the club. According to Reynolds, to grow the club, you have to grow the community in tandem.
Although at least six other bidding groups are interested in owning the Senators, Reynolds and the Remington Group have a good chance, given Reynolds' track record of success with Wrexham F.C. Senators' fans have every reason to be excited at the prospect of Reynolds owning their team.
