Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk wasn't with his team as they were introduced to the media for this season, as his wife Emma is giving birth any day now.
Brady Tkachuk and his wife Emma are expecting to give birth to their very first child, a baby boy. The Ottawa Senators captain took to social media last March to share the news that he and his wife Emma were expecting a baby boy in September, which is a sweet new chapter for the pair who married in the summer of 2023.
Brady Tkachuk has been repping Ottawa his whole NHL career, ever since the Senators grabbed him as the fourth overall pick in the 2018 draft. In that time, he's racked up 162 goals and 187 assists in 440 games, with a whopping 627 penalty minutes, the most on the team at the moment.
And after signing a seven-year, $57.7 million contract extension in 2021, it looks like their baby boy will be growing up in Ottawa for a while.
Brady Tkachuk is 24 years old and hails from Scottsdale, Arizona. He is the son of NHL legend Keith Tkachuk. His brother Matthew currently stars for the Florida Panthers, and is fresh off a Stanley Cup win, while his sister Taryn plays varsity field hockey for the University of Virginia. It would seem the next generation of Tkachuks are ready to go, and to continue the family's athletic legacy!
