Tony DeAngelo and John Tortorella are both known for being vocal, so it's no shock that after five consecutive games as a healthy scratch, DeAngelo is ready to share his thoughts, while Tortorella stays tight-lipped.
This season, DeAngelo scored 11 goals and recorded 42 points in 70 games but found himself benched for the Flyers' final 5 matches.
Reacting to the benching, DeAngelo expressed his frustration, admitting it left a "sour taste" in his mouth.

Labeling the benching as "ridiculous," DeAngelo acknowledged Tortorella's decision to sideline him.
Tortorella chose not to comment on DeAngelo's benching but has previously mentioned that the defenseman needs to improve his defensive game.
The Flyers acquired DeAngelo in July last season, trading three draft picks for the 27-year-old defenseman. As a free agent at season's end, DeAngelo's offensive skills make him an attractive trade option, especially considering his struggles to fit into Tortorella's more defensively-oriented system.
DeAngelo expressed his desire to remain in Philadelphia, but that will depend on whether the Flyers believe it's the best move for both parties. Regardless, questions about DeAngelo's future continue to loom.
