In breaking news, this Seattle Kraken forward was just suspended for his dirty play last night against Edmonton.

Gourde Suspended For Charge on Ekholm During Kraken Versus Oilers Game

Last night's game between the Seattle Kraken and the Edmonton Oilers got chippy after Yanni Gourde felt he was roughed up a little by Connor McDavid at the faceoff dot. During the play, McDavid gets his stick a little high on Gourde, and pushes him to the ice. This leads to Gourde hounding McDavid down for a fight, which obviously doesn't happen.
In retaliation, Gourde takes a dirty run at Mattias Ekholm and is given a 5-minute major for charging.
That charge has landed Gourde in some trouble with the NHL, as it was almost immediately announced that he would have a hearing for the hit.
Now, the NHL Player Safety has announced that Gourde will be suspended as a result of the hit.
This comes after the NHL has taken a clear stance against retaliatory plays this season, even if they missed other calls or suspensions that occurred during the play. Do you agree with the suspension?
