Tampa Bay Lightning forward Anthony Cirelli seemed to have scored first in game 5 against the Florida Panthers, but the goal was eventually overturned after it was ruled that Anthony Duclair had interfered with Sergei Bobrovsky.

Duclair was on the very edge of the crease, and as the puck moved to Cirelli, Duclair's right skate seemed to interfere with Bobrovsky as the netminder tried to push to his right in an attempt to make a save.
At first glance, there appears to be nothing wrong with this play, as no Panthers players on the ice seemed upset at the referee for missing a call, even Bobrovsky was calm, and if a goalie feels they are interfered with, this is not usually the case.
Ultimately the Panthers chose to challenge, and the call was overturned, resulting in no goal, much to the dismay of Tampa Bay fans everywhere, as they are on the brink of elimination.
This controversial call could have major implications if Tampa Bay goes on to lose by a slim margin, as this could have been a season saving goal.
