Vladislav Namestnikov exits game 4 after scary injury

During the third period of game 4 between the a Colorado Avalanche and the Winnepeg Jets, forward Vladislav Namestnikov was struck in the face by a shot from Jets player Nate Schmidt and immediately collapsed on the ice.

Namestnikov was on the ice and appeared to not be moving as Jets and Avalanche training staff rushed to the ice to help him.
The home crowd at Ball arena fell deathly silent, as Namestnikov was being worked on by medical staff, surrounded by his teammates. The crowd then began to cheer as both medical staffs rushed to his aid, showing great camaraderie.
Jets players looked extremely concerned for their fallen teammate as they watched the training staff work their magic.
The Jets ended up falling in game 4 of their Stanley Cup Playoff series against the Avalanche, but all thoughts are with Namestnikov as the hockey world holds their breath for an update on his injury status.
