The Toronto Maple Leafs' hunt for a fresh General Manager has taken an intriguing twist. While Brad Treliving has been widely touted as the prime candidate, a new contender has entered the ring, sparking a wave of excitement among the fanbase.
Eric Tulsky, currently the Assistant GM over at the Carolina Hurricanes.
The word around the rink is that he could be the perfect fit to step into Kyle Dubas' shoes. Of course, the Leafs aren't the only team vying for his services, but another contender appears to have their sights set elsewhere.
The Pittsburgh Penguins had showed interest in Tulsky. However, if the whispers are to be believed, they've since pivoted their focus towards Dubas, armed with an enticing offer to revamp their squad swiftly.

Tulsky's track record is nothing short of impressive. He was instrumental in steering the Hurricanes to the Eastern Conference Finals, an achievement made even more admirable considering the limited resources at his disposal in Carolina.
His qualifications are undeniably substantial. The pivotal role he played in the Hurricanes' path to the Eastern Conference Finals, coupled with his efficient handling of operations despite their modest resources compared to the Leafs, speaks volumes about his capabilities.
While Treliving does bring a wealth of experience to the table, Tulsky's potential is noteworthy. His appointment could very well catapult the Leafs into an exciting new chapter of their hockey legacy.
