According to reports from the Maple Leafs mandatory team skate this morning, Matt Murray left without explanation. He had a session with goalie coach Curtis Sanford before departing.

If Matt Murray's departure is due to another injury, it would be a significant setback for the Leafs, who are already without Ryan O'Reilly for a few weeks.
Although they have a reliable third option in Joseph Woll, having a healthy starting goalie would undoubtedly be preferable.
