Leafs Adding Shane Doan
According to NHL insider Shane Doan, the Toronto Maple Leafs are hiring Shane Doan as an Assistant GM. This has just been reported.
Must read on Daily Hockey Dose
Doan was previously with the Arizona Coyotes, where he spent much of his career, and where Auston Matthews grew up. Matthews' idolized Doan as a kid, and with the addition of his childhood hero to the Leafs' front office, he may be more inclined to re-sign with the club.
