Biznasty Calls Out All The Haters After Auston Matthews' Extension

Finally, a four-year deal with a $13,500,000 AAV was agreed to. The deal has faced backlash since being signed. One NHL analyst took to social media to defend Matthews and the Leafs.

Shortly after the Auston Matthews extension was signed TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette who also co-hosts the Spittin Chiclets Podcast took to X to talk about the deal.

In the video Biz praises the Leafs and Matthews for getting a deal done. He specifically praises new General Manager Brad Treliving for getting Matthews on a hometown discount. He also calls out all the haters who don't like the deal calling them idiots.

In the video, Biz predicts that Auston Matthews will go on to score 50 goals in each season of the deal. He also predicts Matthews will have two more Hart Trophies during this contract. Finally, a finals MVP when the Leafs lift the Stanley Cup this season is in Matthews' future according to Biz as well.

If Auston Matthews is able to accomplish all of the lofty things on Paul Bissonnette's list he will be hockey royalty in Toronto. He will go down in history as one of the greatest Maple Leafs of all time. Oh, and the contract will look like a bargain at that point too.

It will be interesting to see if Biz turns into Nostradamus and is able to predict the future of Matthews and the Leafs over the next few years.
