The Toronto Maple Leafs 1-0 victory over the Winnipeg Jets was a thrilling one, but one small moment in the game could lead to a big decision from Sheldon Keefe.

Matthew Knies disrespects his Head Coach

While Ilya Samsonov would ultimately pull out the 32-save shutout, things didn't look good in the first period, as the Leafs were outshot 16-4.
During that period, Sheldon Keefe was addressing his team on the bench, and in a slight, easy to miss moment, top-line winger Matthew Knies seemingly disrespected Keefe.

Potential ramifications for Knies?

Knies wasn't the only player struggling early in this game, but this moment of disrespect could cost him, and potentially already has, as third line LW Nick Robertson ended the game with more ice-time than Knies.
Ultimately, this intriguing ice-time result could have been purely coincidence, but given how well Robertson has played as of late, this could mean a potential scratch for Knies, who hasn't performed as well as expected, and has now openly disrespected his coach. We will see in the coming days whether or not this will come true, but for now, it's an intriguing storyline to keep an eye on as Toronto look to build momentum ahead of a playoff run.
