Don Cherry is known for his straightforward opinions. He loves the old-school, hard-hitting style of play in hockey and was thrilled about the Toronto Maple Leafs' recent roster changes.

The Leafs decided to add some toughness to their team by signing three gritty free agents: Ryan Reaves, Tyler Bertuzzi, and Max Domi. Cherry couldn't contain his excitement and praised the Leafs for making such a smart move.

He expressed his happiness on Twitter about the Leafs' acquisitions:

Treliving's Clever Moves

Reaves, Bertuzzi, and Domi are all known for their physical play and ability to annoy their opponents, which is incredibly valuable during playoff. The Leafs, who have struggled in the playoffs before, made a strong statement with these signings: they are not interested in being nice.
To strengthen their defense and boost their offense, the Leafs also signed John Klingberg.
Brad Treliving had a clear plan in mind and made all the right moves during the off-season. He not only secured some of the best players available but also made sure they fit well with Toronto's style of play.
