Mitch Marner played his junior hockey with newly acquired Maple Leaf, Max Domi, and has shared his thoughts on the move.

Domi and Marner Reunited

Mitch Marner and Max Domi both played junior hockey for the London Knights. They spent 2013-2015 playing together and developed great chemistry together. In their final year together, Marner had 126 points and Domi had 102.
Yesterday, Brad Treliving went out and acquired Domi via unrestricted free agency. This move has clearly gotten Marner excited with him posting this picture on Instagram.

What we can expect

It is hard to imagine Sheldon Keefe will play Domi away from Marner often considering the history the two have and the offensive upside Domi can provide. Scoring 56 points last season, Domi knows how to get the puck in the net.
With a career high of 28 goals and 72 points back in 2019 with Montreal, Domi will look to surpass it on an offensive juggernaut including the core four.
