The Maple Leafs kicked off 2024 on a promising note, winning four consecutive games at the start of January. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to maintain that rhythm and lost their last three games.

Throughout the season, there's been a lot of discussions about the changes that the organization should do.
Brad Treliving is starting to see that they must make changes to become a top contender in the NHL. A new report indicates that something could happen soon.

Treliving Spotted at Canucks vs Sabres Game

Typically, when GMs attend games, it's because they're working on a deal.
Brad Treliving was seen at the Buffalo Sabres' ganme against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.
Also, David Pagnotta reported that eight teams were present at yesterday's Leafs' game in Toronto.
Even though Vancouver and Buffalo aren't on that list, Elliotte Friedman thinks that Treliving's presence in Buffalo suggests something could happen soon.
"On Saturday, there was bad weather in Buffalo. We all know the story, they moved the NFL playoff game... Brad Treliving made a trip on Saturday afternoon to go see the Sabres and Canucks... Everyone was kind of wondering, with the weather the way it was, and with the [Leafs] playing that night, it's pretty interesting that he went down there... there's some interesting names that you could look at in those situations and say 'what's he up to here?'." - Friedman on Treliving making a trip to Buffalo in person this weekend

As the Leafs prepare to go on a four-game trip in Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton and Seattle, this situation will be interesting to monitor.
Do you think Toronto will make a trade soon?
