The Toronto Maple Leafs are off to a solid start in 2023-24, but despite their impressive comeback win over the Tampa Bay Lightning, it appears the lineup isn't yet set in stone.
After the game, Leafs reporters have noticed in practice that there has been exactly one change to each of Toronto's top three lines, hoping to spark the offensive output we saw in their first two games.

According to those reports,
Tyler Bertuzzi has been bumped down to the second line, pushing
Matthew Knies down a line while
Calle Jarnkrok has now officially paired Marner-Matthews on the top line, with this being their new look lineup.
Jarnkrok-Matthews-Marner
Bertuzzi-Tavares-Nylander
Knies-Kampf-Domi
Gregor-Holmberg-Reaves
Now, the Leafs will take on Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals, a team who have struggled in 2023-24, and if these lines can work, it's an opportunity for Toronto to make a massive statement.
The team have been good to start 2023-24, but this is a franchise that's looking for greatness this season, and if they have to tinker with the lineup early in the season to get to that point, it's certainly understandable.
