The Toronto Maple Leafs have lost their past four games, and with a red-hot Calgary Flames team opposing them on Thursday night, things could get very interesting.
While plenty of things have gone wrong for Toronto as of late, the easiest position group to target is their goaltending, which quite simply hasn't been up to par in 2023-24.
According to reports, it will be Martin Jones yet again to lead the Leafs out against Calgary, and while he's no doubt fatiguing, he has been solid thus far in 2023-24.
In 15 games this year, Jones has a 2.36 GAA and a .922 save percentage, and he is clearly the Maple Leafs best option right now, but after giving up some big goals as of late, this will be a real test for him as the pressure is on the entire team.
