During their dominant win over the Buffalo Sabres, the Toronto Maple Leafs got very physical, before cameras captured Auston Matthews in a hilarious video.

Auston Matthews 2023-24 season has been one for the ages, and in a 3-0 win over the talented Buffalo Sabres, the goal scoring star notched his 60th of the season, becoming just the ninth player in NHL history to tally 60 goals in multiple campaigns.
It was an eventful game too despite the 3-0 scoreline, as the two sides dropped the gloves in a major line brawl involving TJ Brodie, Rasmus Dahlin and Alex Tuch among others.
It was what happened after the fight that caught the attention of many NHL fans however, as footage was captured of Matthews helping the officials clean the ice of all the equipment left behind.
world class superstar and human being 🥰
This video just goes to show that while Matthews may be one of the more hated players in the NHL due to being on the Maple Leafs, he's one of the most respected players on the ice, and this is another example of that. Matthews is now the only active NHLer to tally 60 goals in a season more than once, and now, he looks to the Stanley Cup Playoffs where the Maple Leafs are yet to find true success since 1967.
It was another successful night for Matthews and the Maple Leafs, with the 26-year old showing his class in a fun moment after what was a wild encounter during a very fun, albeit one-sided 3-0 victory for Toronto.
