The Toronto Maple Leafs have made some solid moves this summer, and they've garnered plenty of praise from former NHL coach Bruce Boudreau.

After a disappointing Game 7 loss to the Boston Bruins, the Toronto Maple Leafs off-season became even more important, and it appears as though Brad Treliving got the message. On day one of free agency, the team added Chris Tanev, Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Anthony Stolarz, and has since signed Alex Nylander to an AHL deal, giving the team a different look to 2023/24.
Now, former Vancouver Canucks coach and now NHL analyst Bruce Boudreau has commented on their summer, singing the praises of General Manager Brad Treliving in the process.
The reception to their moves from their fans has been up and down, but according to Boudreau, this team improved more than any other in the competitive Atlantic Division. With the Bruins, Sabres, Panthers, Red Wings, Lightning and Maple Leafs all expected to play a role in the Stanley Cup Playoffs picture this season, it's going to take more than a few solid off-season moves for Toronto to break their lack of success in the post-season, but it's definitely a good start that's been recognized by many.
