Toronto Maple Leafs center Max Domi got into another fight tonight as he took on Oilers forward Mattias Janmark. The scrap marked Domi's 5th fight of the season, a new career high for him.

It should be noted that Domi's father Tie was in the crowd for tonight's game. Tie Domi played in over 1000 NHL games, the vast majority of which came with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He hold the team record for fights and got into 333 scraps over the course of his career. Apparently his son was looking to make him proud tonight as he decided to drop the gloves with Mattias Janmark.

This was Domi's fifth fight of the season. His previous season-high in fights came in the 2015-16 season when he had four.
Max Domi's five fights this season for the Maple Leafs is a career high.
The fight came as the Oilers were in the middle of a late comeback attempt. However, the Leafs were able to hold them off, finishing out the game with a dominant 6-3 victory. The Oilers will look to regroup quickly as they take on the Ottawa Senators tomorrow.
