The draft expert Bob McKenzie revealed who he thinks the Toronto Maple Leafs will draft with their 23rd overall pick at the upcoming NHL draft.

Even if Kyle Dubas, the former general manager of the Leafs, sacrificed many draft picks to make trade deadline acquisitions, Brad Treliving will go up on stage during the first round to talk at the 23rd overall rank.
While most of the top players will be selected in the first half of the round, the Leafs could still make a splash, just like they did last year with Easton Cowan at the 28th rank.
Many experts have shared their opinions as to who the Leafs should get. Among them, Bob McKenzie of TSN made an interesting prediction.
He believes that Treliving will get the Finnish defenseman Aron Kiviharju.
Other experts have share their thoughts on the young player.
Scott Wheeler of The Athletic stated:
"He manages play in front of him with impressive poise and comfort, directing and influencing play all the way down the ice. He effortlessly advances play under pressure inside his own zone, side-stepping forecheckers to headman pucks."

Rachel Doerrie also talked about the defenseman on ESPN:
"For a small defenseman, he manages the play very well through excellent skating in a high-end hockey sense. His footwork is particularly noticeable on the puck where he escapes sticky situations, walks the line and creates space for himself."
Even if Treliving has a reputation of liking bigger defensemen and that Kiviharju is only 5'10", he could decide to get him if he believes he'S the best player available.
Do you think the Toronto Maple Leafs will get Aron Kiviharju in the first round of the 2024 NHL draft?
