The Toronto Marlies have re-signed Kyle Clifford, and he will be starting off next season in the AHL. Kyle Clifford is a Stanley Cup winner.

Clifford is 33-years-old, and has already spent the last three seasons with the Toronto Marlies. He also was a very important player for the Los Angeles Kings when they won the Stanley Cup in 2014.
Clifford has played in 99 games with the AHL Marlies, and has scored 18 goals and added 30 assists. He also scored five goals and seven assists in 10 playoff games with the club.
Clifford was the assistant captain for the Marlies last season, where his leadership and championship experience really led the young players to grow and flourish.
Kyle also brings a ton of grit and physicality to his game. He never shy's away from delivering a massive hit or engaging in a fight. He racked up 140 penalty minutes last season, and he was seen in several games standing up for his teammates with his no-nonsense attitude.

Clifford had a fine NHL career, having suited up for the LA Kings, St. Louis Blues, and the Toronto Maple Leafs during his 15-year career. This will be his fourth straight season he plays for the AHL Marlies.
