William Nylander may not have changed the outcome in game one, but he was sorely missed, and now he may be on a path to returning ahead of game two on Monday.
The Toronto Maple Leafs enter Monday with a must-win clash against the Boston Bruins to avoid falling behind 2-0, and now, one Maple Leafs insider has dropped some incredibly positive news on their missing star.
Hey #LeafsForever fans People's Insider here 📞📞.. hearing some good news regarding the Willy Styles Nylander regarding his availability for game #2. 👀👀
Standby as there are still some hurdles to work thru.

As Schmaltz mentions, nothing is guaranteed yet as he has some hurdles to clear before a return is coming, but with the team needing everyone healthy, a return is a good possibility. No. 88 took in an optional skate on Sunday, a good sign moving forward, but even if he's not at 100%, he will be pushing for a massive return moving forward.
With 36 shots and just 1 goal in game one, Nylander's 40 goal season should give them confidence that they can beat the elite goaltending of the Boston Bruins, and with Nylander on the ice, this team is a different beast entirely, so everyone in Toronto will be hoping this is the day he returns.
