On the surface, it's a huge win for Toronto, as they move a young player that has made it clear he wants to be traded, as well as shedding cap space and opening up the perfect role for Frost in this loaded group.
Over the last few seasons, Frost has come into his own at the NHL level, tallying 46 and 41 points in his last two campaigns, playing a solid 81 and 71 games over that time. The 25-year old isn't the complete package yet, but with an upgrade in surroundings, he could become an elite center in the NHL, and if this offer is on the table for Toronto, they'd be wise to take it.
