The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to upgrade their already talented forward group, and this latest pitch may just be the best option yet for Brad Treliving.

After bolstering their blue line and goaltending with three huge additions this summer, it's time for Brad Treliving and the Maple Leafs front office to get aggressive in landing an upgrade to their forward group, and this latest proposal may do just that. According to Heavy.com, the Maple Leafs could offer the up-and-coming Philadelphia Flyers the combination of Nick Robertson and veteran Calle Jarnkrok.
Maple Leafs get:
Morgan Frost

Flyers get:
Nick Robertson
Calle Jarnkrok

On the surface, it's a huge win for Toronto, as they move a young player that has made it clear he wants to be traded, as well as shedding cap space and opening up the perfect role for Frost in this loaded group.
Over the last few seasons, Frost has come into his own at the NHL level, tallying 46 and 41 points in his last two campaigns, playing a solid 81 and 71 games over that time. The 25-year old isn't the complete package yet, but with an upgrade in surroundings, he could become an elite center in the NHL, and if this offer is on the table for Toronto, they'd be wise to take it.
