The Toronto Maple Leafs have already made two major defensive moves this off-season, and now, they've made another by adding a Stanley Cup Champion.

Free agency has only just begun for the NHL, but in that short time, the Maple Leafs have already brought back Timothy Liljegren and added veteran Chris Tanev to their depleted blue line. Now, it appears they've made another move as Oliver Ekman-Larsson, fresh off a Stanley Cup Finals win is now becoming a Maple Leaf as well.
Unless something changes expect OEL to help bolster the Leafs blueline as well.
Darren Dreger was first with the report, and after needing to make some blue line moves this summer, the Maple Leafs have been aggressive early, and now have the potential to be one of the best units in the Eastern Conference. In his first season after two dreadful years with Vancouver, Ekman-Larsson had a fantastic year, netting 9 goals and adding 23 assists for the Florida Panthers, and now, he's ready to finally help the Maple Leafs get over the hill.
