The season opens for Toronto on October 9th, with their first game on the road against the Montreal Canadiens. The following nine games of the month will be against other Eastern Conference teams: the New Jersey Devils, Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Columbus Blue Jackets, Boston Bruins, and Winnipeg Jets. Their last of the month is against the distant American team, the Seattle Kraken.
The Toronto Maple Leafs begin their exhibition games at Scotiabank Arena on September 22nd against the Ottawa Senators, following up from the Canadian Tire Center two days later. They will continue on until the regular season games begin on October 5th. Hopefully, with this increased excitement and season tickey=t availability, enough fans will be able to cheer the team on in person and give them a solid start to their 2024-25 season.
