During last night's Ducks versus Leafs game, things got a bit heated between Radko Gudas and several members of the Leafs, though, he left embarrassed after the game.
Gudas Returns to Toronto For First Time Since Screaming in Woll's Face in Playoffs
Radko Gudas was on the cover of every newspaper in Toronto at the end of last season after screaming in Joseph Woll's face when the Florida Panthers won the series that sent the Leafs home. Last night was his first game back in Toronto, and he had a few comments to make about it prior to the game.
Gudas on celebratory scream in front of Woll after series-clinching win in OT:
"One of the emotional moments when you let loose ... It's a long time ago. I still can't believe you guys talk about it"
This comment obviously drew some attention from Leaf fans, especially as Ryan Reaves noted at the beginning of the year that if he were on the ice for that moment, that would not have been acceptable.
Gudas Ducks Several Requests to Fight Ryan Reaves And Looks Cowardly
During last night's game, things got a bit heated between Gudas and several members of the Leafs, notably Max Domi and Ryan Reaves. Near the beginning of the game, Domi and Gudas mutually agreed to drop the gloves, ending in Gudas slamming Domi to the ice.
However, that wouldn't be the end of it. Gudas also took a shot at Bobby McMann after scoring a goal, which sparked another confrontation between Domi and Gudas. Gudas then had the opportunity to fight Reaves, and he declined, showing his cowardice to fight someone closer to his size.
If Gudas felt good walking into Scotiabank Arena last night, it's safe to say he didn't feel that way walking out.
