Critique on Sheldon Keefe's Strategy by Ex-Leafs Enforcer Ignites Discussion on Team Dynamics

Despite securing a playoff position, the Toronto Maple Leafs' average performance is causing a dip in team morale, with Head Coach Sheldon Keefe at the center of criticism. According to Jay Rosehill, a former enforcer for the Leafs, Keefe's strategy might be under more scrutiny than it currently is.

Intense Criticism from Retired Enforcer Jay Rosehill Targets Keefe's Management of Key Players

The Maple Leafs have long struggled with depth scoring, a crucial issue when significant salary is allocated to the team's core players, necessitating a stronger performance from the supporting lineup.
In the past approximately 2.5 months, depth scoring has significantly dwindled, highlighted by Max Domi's lead with only four goals. More concerning is Tyler Bertuzzi's minimal output, with only one goal since December 4th, despite a hefty $5.5M contract.
"Since December 4th Domi has four goals, Kampf has three goals, Knies has two goals, McMann two goals, Holmberg two goals, Gregor two goals.

Bertuzzi one goal since December 1st, twenty seven games for $5.5M. If you're not putting the puck in the net what the hell are you doing?

You better be a shut down man, an energy man, a physical body punishing guy, a PKer supreme, blocking shots. You better do all that stuff, but no.

The Core 4 has to go out and do all that sh*t too. Whether you want to blame Keefe for putting the load on them and not giving them the opportunity. The production just isn't there from the depth players on the front end at all."

Urgent Need for Change in the Leafs' Ranks as Deadline Looms

The pressure is mounting for Brad Treliving to initiate changes within the team to overcome the stagnation. The options seem to be a change in coaching, player roster, or possibly both.
Who do you think should be shown the door?
