Ryan Reaves in danger of losing his roster spot with the Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs forward group is shaping up to be a fantastic one next season, and while the top-six is established, the bottom-six couldn't be more different with training camp on the horizon. Not only do Toronto have young players like Pontus Holmberg and Nick Robertson with NHL experience pushing for a spot, they've also got prospects like Fraser Minten and Easton Cowan knocking down the door as well.

While great depth is never an issue, this gives Craig Berube some tough decisions to make with training camp on the horizon, and according to speculation from Editor in Leaf, it could spell the end for Reaves in Toronto.

For some time, fans in Toronto have felt that his roster spot was a waste, especially with the money that Brad Treliving handed out, and they may get their wish soon.

Along with those names above, Alex Nylander recently inked a deal with the Toronto Marlies, and given how important speed and skill has become in the NHL, it makes sense if they're looking to move on. This raises some huge questions for the team going forward, as they will need to decide whether he will be an extra or whether he will be bought out/traded, and whatever call they make, it may impact the team in a massive way next year.
