Tonight was a horrific night for the Toronto Maple Leafs when it comes to injuries. First came an injury to defenseman Timothy Liljegren. Now forward Bobby McMann joins the list.
Early in tonight's game the Toronto Maple Leafs injury woes continued after Timothy Liljegren was injured on a big hit from Red Wings forward Joe Veleno.
A few minutes later the injuries continued to pile up this time forward Bobby McMann took a strange fall after getting his leg tangled with a Red Wings player.
At the time of the injury, no one knew that Bobby McMann had suffered anything that would take him out of the game. Shortly after however the Toronto Maple Leafs PR team would confirm that Bobby McMann was out for the night.
Maple Leafs forward Bobby McMann will not return to tonight's game (lower body).
With the playoffs on the horizon, the Toronto Maple Leafs need to hope that Bobby McMann and Timothy Liljegren's injuries are not as serious as they look.
Head coach Sheldon Keefe will likely give an update in the coming days on the status of several injuries. As those updates are given we will pass the information along to you.
