Jake DeBrusk in danger as stalker follows him to Vancouver

Despite Jake DeBrusk's success he had with the Bruins, the time came where he was signed by another team, the Vancouver Canucks. DeBrusk faced his fair share of problems from certain fans over his career, but none as bad as what he went through in Boston. Perhaps that is the main reason he's chosen to leave the city, however, now it appears that stalker fan, who was banned from Boston's TD Garden, has plans to follow him to his new home in Vancouver.

DeBrusk has been facing attacks by this stalker for several years now, and it got so bad that his partner Mia, was also getting ripped apart online by this fan, who goes by Jan on X. Security personnel at TD Garden got so worried for DeBrusk's safety that they had to put a full ban on Jan, not allowing her to attend any games at all. Fans are hoping that staff working at Rogers Arena in Vancouver are aware of this life-threatening situation and will put a similar ban in effect.

Despite all the mainly positive fame and attention that comes with being an NHL athlete, there are times where some bad apples fall through, and in this case, DeBrusk is one of the victims. His safety will need to be at the utmost priority of the Canucks, prior to the start of the new season.
