The Bruins' captain, Patrice Bergeron, was absent from Game 1 of the playoffs due to a sickness that seemed to impact several of his fellow teammates.
Despite Bergeron's absence, the Bruins managed to secure a victory in Game 1, and fans were optimistic that the potential Selke winner would make a return for Game 2.
However, recent updates have revealed that Bergeron's situation has taken a turn, as he's now dealing with an injury.
Fingers are crossed that Bergeron's injury won't have long-lasting effects, as the Bruins strive to demonstrate that their outstanding regular season performance was no mere accident.
