On Tuesday night, the Vegas Golden Knights and Winnipeg Jets started their journey to compete for the Stanley Cup in their best-of-seven matchup at T Mobile Arena. However, the Jets stunned the Golden Knights by taking an early 2-0 lead.
The game then had a very scary moment occur during a battle in the Vegas crease area. Chandler Stephenson of the Golden Knights pushed Morgan Barron, a forward for the Jets, into the crease area, causing him to accidentally crash into the skate of goaltender Laurent Brossoit.
Many would understand if Barron didn't return, but this is the playoffs! Barron would receive a whopping 75 stitches, and would return to the game wearing a full face shield.
