The Toronto Maple Leafs have been dealt yet another injury as forward Ryan Reaves had to be helped down the hall to the locker room after he suffered a scary collision with the boards.
Reaves Leaves Game Early After Suffering Injury
The 36-year-old forward appeared to catch an edge in a rut as he skated awkwardly into the boards without any pressure from other players. He then gingerly skated off the ice before the trainers helped him walk down the hallway. He also appears to fall in the hallway as the trainers stopped supporting him temporarily. It appeared as though he was struggling to support his own weight.
Ryan Reaves had to be helped off the ice. Watch at the end they just let him go, and he falls to the ground 🤦 Why did they let him go.
Reaves has just one goal in 21 contests for the Leafs this season. While he has not been much of a factor for the team, this injury is yet another player that the Leafs will have to replace.
