Connor Bedard is just months into his NHL career and is already undergoing his first major surgery.

Bedard Out For 6-8 Weeks

Insider Frank Seravalli has just reported that Connor Bedard has undergone surgery to repair his fractured jaw.
Hearing Connor Bedard underwent surgery on Monday to repair his fractured jaw.

Bedard is expected to miss approximately 6-8 weeks, meaning #Blackhawks will unfortunately need an injury replacement at #NHLAllStar.
This follows the scary hit that Bedard took from Devils player Brendan Smith, which forced him to leave Chicago's game versus New Jersey. While it was originally reported that he would miss time, the surgery sets back his timeline for return.
With Bedard out, a replacement will be needed for the upcoming All-Star game in Toronto.
