Today NHL insider Chris Johnston as well as other sources have announced that Nick Ritchie is returning to hockey.
After being released from a Player Tryout during preseason he is now taking his talents overseas. Ritchie has signed in Finland with Karpat.

Ritchie, 27, had 13 goals, 26 points through 74 games played with the Calgary Flames & Arizona Coyotes (NHL) last season.
He was with St. Louis on a professional tryout contract in preseason, but failed to make the team.

Nick Ritchie has signed with Oulun Kärpät in Finland. He attended #stlblues training camp on a PTO and was released before the season.
Ritchie at only 27-years-old could return to the NHL in the future with a good stint overseas. For now Ritchie will enjoy his time playing in a new environment and culture.
