BREAKING: The Worst is Confirmed for Ilya Samsonov

Ilya Samsonov will officially not be returning for the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight in a crucial Game 3 against the Florida Panthers.

Samsonov suffered an injury following a rough collision with teammate Luke Schenn during an offensive opportunity for the Panthers. The collision caused Samsonov to leave for the Leafs' locker room.

Though it's unknown how long Samsonov will be out for, Joseph Woll has stepped in goal for the Leafs. As of this writing, the Leafs and Panthers are tied 2-2 late in the third period.
