In a dramatic turn of events, while Boston University was leading 3-0 late in the second period, the fire alarm at Merrimack College's Lawler Arena unexpectedly went off.

In a light-hearted response, BU's Twitter account humorously suggested that perhaps a Merrimack fan, discouraged by the team's performance, might have set off the alarm.
