Fire Alarm Halts Important NCAA Game

In a dramatic turn of events, while Boston University was leading 3-0 late in the second period, the fire alarm at Merrimack College's Lawler Arena unexpectedly went off.
"Fire Alarm Going Off At The Merrimack Vs BU Hockey Game.

Currently evacuating Lawler Arena."
After the brief pause, play resumed, and Boston University entered the final period with their 3-0 lead intact.
"a totally normal second period has finally come to an end."
In a light-hearted response, BU's Twitter account humorously suggested that perhaps a Merrimack fan, discouraged by the team's performance, might have set off the alarm.
"sounds like someone pulled the fire alarm (we're up 3-0 so can't blame them). we'll play the final 1:49 of the second period shortly, take a 2:00 break, then play the third period."
More to come.
