NHL Agent Calls Out Gary Bettman For Global Series Fiasco
The NHL visited Sweden today for the next installment of the NHL global series. While the events are generally accepted as one of the cooler things the NHL does, fans in Canada may be feeling left out as the games are not being broadcast in the country.

Today, the Red wings take on the Senators. Both teams have provided quite the show for their Swedish fans as the game is currently tied 4-4 going into the third period.
Not everyone can enjoy the games though as the broadcast was blacked out for most of Canada.
NHL Agent Allan Walsh Slams NHL For Blacking Out Global Series Games
Allan Walsh, noted NHL agent, ripped the league on X this morning for blacking out the Senators Red Wings game everywhere in Canada outside of Ottawa. These games are intended to grow the game and while Canada may not be the intended target, certainly new fans aren't going to show up for a game they can't watch.
Walsh shared a sentiment that many sports fans hold. Blackout restrictions are dumb. They are bad for the game and make it more difficult for fans to enjoy their favorite sport.
The Global series continues tomorrow when the Red Wings take on the Maple Leafs.
