Jaromir Jagr is one of the NHL's most historic players, as he continues his hockey career long after his last game in the NHL. Now, it appears he is still breaking records, surpassing Gordie Howe in this record book.
Jaromir Jagr is a specimen to be studied, as he remains playing professional hockey long into his 50s when many professional hockey players are forced to hang it up by the time they are in their late 30s. Not for Jagr, though, who has been able to continue his playing days after his 52nd birthday, and has just surpassed Gordie Howe for oldest professional hockey player.
He isn't just playing professionally, either, he is succeeding. He was able to score a goal in his first game back after a trip to Pittsburgh.
Jagr played in 1733 career games in the NHL, with his final season being in 2018 for the Calgary Flames. Over the span of those games, he was able to record a mindblowing 1921 points, over a point per game throughout his long and illustrious career.
