It appears as though Jeff Marek will no longer be seen or heard on Sportsnet, as the network has gotten rid of him due to unconfirmed reasons related to the draft.

Fans were concerned over the last few weeks as Jeff Marek suddenly disappeared following the NHL entry draft. No one knew why, and nothing was mentioned anywhere online, on television or on the radio. Now, the silence has been broken, as Sportsnet has just revealed Marek will be no more.
Details are scarce but multiple sources tell me that for unconfirmed draft reasons, @JeffMarek will likely be no longer performing duties at Sportnet hockey. Details to follow. This would appear to include his podcast duties too.
Marek had been doing his show called 32 Thoughts the Podcast with Elliotte Friedman for the last few years now, and fans across the country loved tuning in to the show to hear what they had to say about important issues in the sporting world. Panic erupted online when Marek suddenly vanished, and no one knew why. Unfortunately for fans, the worst news has now been confirmed, and he will never be working for Rogers or Sportsnet again.
Random question but wtf happened to Jeff Marek and why has he suddenly called off the face of the earth. They never did the wrap up 32 thoughts podcast. He hasn't been publicly heard from since the draft
Fans are eagerly awaiting the official announcement as to the reasoning behind this, but until then, at least we know Marek is safe and alive. Still no doubt a very odd and sudden firing.
