Utah NHL franchise reveals potential team names
After ditching the desert and leaving the Arizona Coyotes behind, the Utah NHL franchise has been surrounded with buzz, especially in regards to their potential team nickname, as they have opened voting for NHL fans to vote on their favourite names.
The franchise, who will be based out of Salt Lake City, has chosen to wear jersey's that feature only the name «UTAH» on the front, similar to the New York Rangers. Fans can vote on 20 potential nicknames that are under consideration.
Voting for these options will be open until May 22nd, and some of the more popular nicknames include Blizzard, Yetis, and Venom, amongst many others.

Utah GM Bill Armstrong is going to have a busy summer ahead, as owner Ryan Smith has reportedly made it known to management that he wants to contend right away, leaving Armstrong with a lot to think about heading into the NHL off-season.
Fans in Utah can look forward to some very exciting hockey in Salt Lake City over the coming seasons.
